Officers and members of the non-profit organization of Tanay visual artists, Asosasyon ng Artistang Pilipino ng Tanay (AAP Tanay), Inc. will join the upcoming Tanay, Hane! Festival, on November 9th, 2022.

The Tanay Hane festival is an annual feast, commemorating the founding of the Municipality of Tanay. In 1606, Tanay — formerly part of Pililia, Rizal — was declared a separate pueblo or town and known back then as Monte de Tan-ay.

Part of the yearly celebration is the showcase of fresh agricultural produce from different barangays of the town and an annual art fair, where the local visual artists sell their paintings and sculptures. This is part of the local government’s efforts to promote its local tourism, agriculture, and art industries.
